GTP Europe is the marketing and sales organization for Europe of Guyana Mats & Marine Timbers GMMT in Guyana. The head office of GMMT is in the capital Georgetown and its processing plant in Soesdyke. The company in Guyana is owned by European shareholders.

The last 3 years more than 10.000 m3 of mats have been processed and assembled in Guyana designated for customers all over the world.

 

Products

 

GMMT has its main focus on timber products that can be used in the heavy construction and infrastructure works, above ground and in fresh or salt waters. Cranemats and other bogmats, finished Greenheart fenders, piles and poles of Greenheart, Kakaralli and Wallaba, squares of Greenheart & Mora, are the main products of GMMT. Due to the combination of a high hardness and good to very good durability, many of the Guyana hardwoods qualify for the product market combinations GMMT has its focus on.

GTP Europe is geared to support you in your serving of your markets/ customers. For this we offer you advise, stock and good sales conditions. Our aim is to work closely with our customers for continuous product development and to secure the best  performance of our timber products. Together with GMT we have the knowhow for this and we also have the proven experience to advise you on the possible use of our timber products and the alternatives.

 

Cranemats, pipelinemats or bogmats 

 

One of the main pillars of our company is the marketing & sales in Europe of crane and pipeline mats. The hardwood mats are made in Guyana and are being exported all over the world. We have our stock depot of mats on the border of Holland and Germany close to the main motorway to secure fast delivery of mats to our customers.
